Watercolor Happenings

My painting Affinity was juried into the national Dimensions 2010 show held here locally in Winston.  It was juried by the young, fabulous artist Robert T. Lange. . .he is the owner and chief artist of the Robert T. Lange Studios in Charleston, SC.  He has beautiful new gallery space downtown on Queen Street.  Robert held a talk the day following Dimensions' opening.  .  .what an encouraging, energetic, positive, (did I mention handsome?), inspiring artist.  His wife and muse is also an artist and this young couple inject great things into the Charleston art scene.  I was thrilled that he juried my painting into the show.  Visit his website to see his gallery and paintings!  http://www.robertlangestudios.com/

I've also recently been included in the Best of Watermedia Artists and was notified that my painting Mangoes was actually selected to share the cover of Volume II.  That was a lovely surprise and honor.
