Finished?

Yes, I'm finished and it's time to move on to the next painting.  This has been a great experience, as have my other "Master Copies" and I think utilizing this method goes a long way in showing one how  much hard work is required in order to master portraiture and likeness.  This is oil on canvas and I began by marking center and putting my drawing down with a thinned yellow ochre.  I try to perfect my drawing as much as possible before starting to apply paint, but since I work in layers I find I also make corrections as I go along. . .I'm always amazed at what I DON'T see!  Here's a close-up below.
